One Fandom: We’re still standing

Late the other night, just as I was posting updates on our fan account @dalandan.express on Instagram, I was suddenly logged off. I thought it was just a glitch in the internet connection to I restarted my router and wifi and logged in again only to be informed that our account has been disabled because of violating community rules.

I was hearing about big fan accounts being blocked and had been reposting warnings to secure the accounts for Instagram and Twitter and I never thought that we were experiencing the same thing already, not until Ms. Steph (@sjohns1218) conducted a twitter poll following reports that big and small accounts, and even media accounts like Inside Showbiz Magazine, Metro Magazine and even Viva’s Instagram accounts were also blocked by IG for using #Jadine (well, that’s basically what we all had in common).

PS Thanks Ms. Steph for all the help. Last night, Naddie herself tweeted about the issue and assured fans that they will get to the bottom of the matter. This quickly brought to mind a similar incident during the heat of Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards when fans’ twitter accounts got suspended, in the heat of the voting.

 

Now, Baby Girl is leading the charge in wanting to recover these the fan accounts and it just warms the heart. How can we not love these two when they care so much about what happens to their fans? Mind you, its not because they want to promote themselves even more, but because they know the hard work and effort that that the fans gave to build up their accounts.

Now this is what these hackers do not get. JaDineLand is a united fandom. When the chips are down, that’s when we shine. This is a community built by a common love for James and Nadine and not just because they’re together in real life. We have supported them even before they became official and this is because they have always been team REAL. They have been real to the fans about their real score and they have been honest about their priorities. They work hard to deserve the blessings that they have and make sure that they always give their best to us, “the best fans in the world.”

Now this is what these hackers do not get. JaDineLand is a united fandom. When the chips are down, that’s when we shine. This is a community built by a common love for James and Nadine

During tough times, JaDines, no matter where they are in the world support each other. We waste no time pointing fingers but rather work hard to overcome the hurdles thrown our way.

We are not easily beaten because we are fuelled not by money (these fan account admins are not paid and allot time and effort because they love to spread the good vibes) but because they we are powered by love and positivity. Its true that its annoying and a major inconvenience, but get this haters. We are even more annoying because you can never count us out. NEVER.

So do your worst, even if we don’t get our IGs back, we will find a way to spread the love. Just chew on that for a minute. As for James and Nadine, thank you for caring. We will got your back no matter how many IG accounts they block. That’s a promise.
